Ontario Association of CFDCs

The Ontario Association of Community Futures Development Corporations (OACFDC) is committed to meeting the needs of its CFDC members to deliver quality services in their communities.

The OACFDC undertakes activities such as:

• Organizing an annual conferences
• Promoting training in board governance, mentoring, and professional development
• Pursuing options with the Province of Ontario for CFDCs to deliver the Self Employment Benefit (SEB) Program
• Creating benchmark tools for CFDC activities;
• Developing economic impact study tools for CFDCs;
• Facilitating the development of common document templates for CFDCs
• Compiling regional, provincial and national economic trend statistics;
• Supporting CFDCs with sector concerns and issues.
