'To Learn Online'

‘To Learn Online’ is operated by the Ontario Association of Community Futures Development Corporations (OACFDC) with development support from FedNor and Industry Canada. It is an online learning website where students can take courses that are self-paced and 100% online. These courses are completely self-contained: there are no reports to send in, no blogs, no waiting for responses. ‘To Learn Online’ works in cooperation with professional associations, post secondary institutions and top quality curriculum-providers to acquire course material. All course material is directed towards small and medium business owners, or those concerned with community economic development. Courses include the study of:

  • Business, small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurship
  • Marketing, sales, promotion & publicity, communication
  • Leadership, management
  • Computer software, Microsoft programs
  • Customer service, tourism
  • Workplace improvement, health & safety, accessibility
  • Community economic development
  • Professional development, human resources, personal self-help

As well as entrepreneurs, staff, volunteers and clients of Community Futures Development Corporations will find these courses particularly useful. Online learning is ideal for those who prefer to study part-time while maintaining their business and family commitments.
