Haliburton Language School

The Haliburton Language School, owned and operated by Karra Wesley, provides English as a Second Language programs for people of all ages and at all levels as well as foreign language instruction for people requiring language proficiency for travel or business.

The Haliburton Language School offers packages from three days to a month for international tourists, students and business groups. The program involves part of each day in language lessons and the rest of the day using new language skills while experiencing outdoor and cultural activities in the region. The School is working local camps and other accommodators and Experience Providers in the region.

Haliburton Language School will also provide foreign language lessons for people in the Haliburton region and is able to provide specialized programs for clients.

Karra has taught in Japan, Korea and Indonesia and has run a number of special language projects in Canada. Karra and her husband moved to the Haliburton area in 2010.  HLS was the first business in the Haliburton Creative Business Incubator.
