The Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC)

The BDC has a mission to help create and develop Canadian businesses through financing, venture capital and consulting services, with a focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

BDC is solely dedicated to Canadian entrepreneurs. They have a nationwide team helping more than 28,000 businesses reach their full potential.

BDC has more than 65 years serving Canadian entrepreneurs, with a special focus on SMEs, in sectors such as manufacturing, exporting, innovation and knowledge-based industries. As a financial institution owned by the Government of Canada, the BDC is a catalyst for commercialization that plays a complementary role with business owners and operators.
