Local Initiative Program

The purpose of the Local Initiatives Program is to strengthen Haliburton County communities by supporting community economic development projects that are incremental. A project could be a new initiative or an initiative that enhances existing activities or is an addition to existing activities. The project must involve not-for-profit organizations that strive to enhance the economic development efforts of the community.
