State of Emergency COVID-19 Response

As of Tuesday, January 12th, Ontario entered a State of Emergency. As HCDC is deemed an essential service, we remain open under a locked door policy to continue serving the community.

Current Loan Clients
If you have a current loan with HCDC, please contact one of our staff to discuss the options available to you. Existing clients are also eligible for the Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF).

Regional Relief and Recovery Fund (RRRF)
RRRF provides interest-free loans up to $40,000 with a 25% forgivable portion to eligible businesses. Click here for more details.

Local Initiatives Program (LIP) COVID Edition
Funding is available for not-for-profit organizations that are experiencing additional costs due to COVID-19 or are experiencing a loss of revenue due to cancelled programming or diminished fundraising revenue. Click here to apply.

Advanced Services and Advisory Project (ASAP)
ASAP connects businesses and not-for-profits engaged in commercial activities to professionals for advice, training, and counselling to help navigate through this pandemic. Services are provided at no cost to you! Click here to apply.

Like all Ontarians, we are closely monitoring official announcements and expect to respond as this fluid situation continues to evolve.
