With over 30 years operating in Haliburton County, we know who to call for information and business resources. We work closely with a wide range of agencies such as the Ministry of Economic Development and Growth, National Research Council (Industrial Research Assistance Program), Starter Company Plus, the Business Development Bank of Canada, among others, to support business growth and start-ups.
HCDC has partnered with Fleming College Haliburton School of Art + Design to create the Centre of Making – providing public access to a large-scale printer, laser and vinyl cutters, an animation station, and 3D printers. The broader Community of Making provides access to a full range of equipment and resources for video production, digital media and sound recording.
The HCDC operates a business incubator in downtown Haliburton Village. Affordable office space, mentoring, and 100 mg high speed. Hot desks and meeting space available upon request.
